The Central Archive of SAS enables public to make use of the archival material by providing extracts, certified copies, certificates or photocopies, mainly for confirmation of employment record, award of scientific qualifications or for collecting data for use of state administrative bodies. Requests are accepted in person, by mail, e-mail or telephone. No fees charged.
Researchers can study the desired documents only in the document reading room/research room during opening hours. Archive will present documents from these fonds or archival collections. Archive can limit access to documents in cases mentioned in §13 of Law No. 395/2002 published in Journal of Laws. All researchers are obliged to truthfully fill out a researcher’s form and follow the Research room rules and instructions of the staff.
Any time during the research the researchers may make use of our library, finding aids and Internet connection and seek help from archivists on their related research topics or how to use archival finding aids. Researchers may use their own laptop (Internet available via cable or WiFi) and given the consent of the Director, can make photographs of archival records for personal use. Publishing or any other use of these photographs is conditioned by additional permit. Requests to access the documents are accepted by mail, e-mail or telephone. No fees charged.
