We would like to inform you that the Supplement nr.7 of the Foundation Deed of the Centre of operations
of SAS returned the archive its original name: Archive of the Slovak Academy of Sciences,
dated 11th of November 2019. The full name of the archive is:
Centre of Operations of the Slovak Academy of Sciences – Archive of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
Later on we are going to upgrade the design of our website and bring you some other news.
Supplement nr.7 of the Foundation Deed of the Centre of operations of SAS nr. 367/G/12/2009 of 5 May 2009, approved by Presidium SAS Resolution nr. 859.C of 7 November 2019 with an effective date from 11 November 2019, has been published in the section Documents and law.

International conference organised on the occasion of the 80th birthday of PhDr. Jozef Klačka

The Presidium SAS Resolution number 286 of 1 March 2018 approved the intention of merging the Central Archive of SAS, Congress Centre Smolenice SAS, Technical-economic management of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts and Culture Research’s Organisations SAS, VEDA Publishing House of the SAS, Encyclopaedic Institute SAS and Computing Centre SAS.
The Presidium SAS Resolution number 303 of 21 March 2018 approved the merger as intended. As of the date of 1 May 2018 these organisation have been hereby dissolved without liquidation. The Computing Centre SAS shall act as the legal successor as a unit of self-governing organisation financed by the same. At the same time, the name of the Computing Centre of SAS changes into a Centre of Operations of SAS.
Supplement to the Founder’s Deed of the Computing Centre SAS 367/G/12/2009 of 5 May 2009 have been approved by Presidium SAS Resolution number 339 of 12 April 2018 with an effective date from 1 May 2018.

are organising a conference under the title „Because the kingdom of one language and morality
is poor and weak“ Contribution of members of non-Slovak ethnicities and nationalities to development
of Slovakia on the occasion of the 80th birthday of PhDr. Jozef Klačka.
The conference meeting will be held on 14 November 2018 at the Auditorium of Slovak
Academy of Sciences at Dúbravská cesta 9, Bratislava – Karlova Ves.
From 9 April you can apply to attend the conference on the conference website.
